What documents are needed to proceed with the rental?
In order to process your rental we need to validate your identity. Therefore, you will need to upload the following documents in your profile: Driver's license and Citizen's card/Identity card.
How long does it take to confirm the car rental?
Usually, we estimate that you validate your data and confirm the rental within 48 hours of submitting the request and provided that the documentation and payment are in compliance.
Will there be any down payment?
Nothing will be charged until your profile is properly approved and the rental confirmed with you.
Flexibility of xtraFLEX
With xtraFLEX we offer the flexibility you need to rent a car for as long as you want, whether for days or months, and with free changes and cancellations (depending on the model chosen). In addition, we also offer a wide range of models so you can choose your ideal Hyundai, adapted to your needs.
What do I need to do if I want to cancel earlier than the contracted time?
To cancel the rental earlier than expected, you must send an email to suporte.xtraflex@hyundai.pt .7 days before the renewal date. Otherwise, the following month will be charged. To cancel a new reservation, you must send us an email at least 72 hours before the start of the reservation date to cancel free of charge. Otherwise, costs will be charged depending on the situation.
Will it be necessary to check the condition of the vehicle before leaving the station?
In order to ensure that any and all relevant vehicle information is recorded in your contract, we suggest that you always accompany our employee in the verification of the same.
Can I return the vehicle later than the time specified in the contract?
The vehicle must be returned to the same location where it was collected and the time for return is determined by the opening hours of that location.
My driving license was stolen. Can I optionally file a declaration of theft?
To be able to pick up the vehicle, you will need to present a guide from the IMT (Institute of Mobility and Transport) proving the application for a new driving license.
Can the vehicle I rented be driven by someone other than me?
You can. As long as they have the legal capacity to do so and are identified before picking up the vehicle. There may be an additional cost.

Insurance?
Deductible values: The standard deductible is €1,000 for the i10, i20, BAYON and i30 models. The standard deductible is €1,900 for the KAUAI, IONIQ and TUCSON models. If you want to reduce your risk, you can opt for subscribing to the deductible reduction (see values on the App/Web, in the extras option).
